It was all change at the top of the Winter League table after the penultimate round on Sunday January 27.
Neil Elers & Ashley Forbes won the day with 38pts while Glenn Beardsall & Graham Sloan came in with 35 to storm ahead in the overall league table. The competition involves three Foursomes rounds and three Four-Ball Better-Ball rounds, with the best two scores in each format counting for the overall prize.
Elers & Forbes improved their Foursomes tally by 10pts to move up to 147 - but they are still three behind Beardsall & Sloan as they dropped a disappointing 15 to improve their score by 20pts for a grand total of 150.
Ian Farnham & Andrew Horsburgh and Matt Wabe & Matt West are also on 147 overall after rounds of 32 and 34 respectively.
Long-time leaders Steve Burridge & Mike Smith dropped back to sixth after a 26, which did not improve their overall score.
The final round is a 4BBB on Sunday February 17.
