Course Development

We’re passionate about continuously developing our course and club. Led by our Course Manager, our greenstaff team deliver regular, sympathetic course improvements as part of our strategic Course Development Plan.

Thetford Golf Club is a precious piece of England’s disappearing heathland habitats and part of a designated Site of Scientific Special Interest (SSSI). We take our responsibility as custodians very seriously and work hand in hand with Natural England to manage the course to restore its natural heathland over time.

The course is a haven for wildlife and the unique flora of the Breckland habitat. All who visit will enjoy the deer, birds as well some unique flowers found only in this region of the country.
