Back in operation

Higher temperatures and a considerable amount of rain have combined to clear almost all of the snow on the course.

There are a few stubborn areas of snow in bunkers etc but most has now been cleared.

Some snow remains in a few stubborn areas, such as bunkers, but we are delighted to be back in action with main greens in use.

As always we are fortunate that the course has such remarkable powers of recovery - we can expect to play on decent surfaces and, despite the accumulation of snow and rainfall, there are very few muddy or boggy areas.

Snow is always our principal enemy when it comes to course closures as some tree-lined fairways remain in the shade and with sub-zero temperatures melting takes a long time.

That has now happened - so enjoy your golf!
