Our Club

Thetford is a progressive, friendly and welcoming club with an active playing membership.  It’s a place where friendships are forged and enjoyment is at the core.

Established in 1912 on the sandy, Breckland heathland the club is now at the heart of Thetford Forest.  Our course is widely recognised as one of the finest in East Anglia, thanks in part to the design refined by James Braid and Phillip Ross-Mackenzie.  It’s a traditional heathland layout with each hole having its own space.  Put simply it’s ‘heathland golf at its finest’.

Our clubhouse provides an intimate and warm welcome, as does our extensive patio which enjoys stunning views of the 18th hole.  Players and visitors can enjoy food, drink and hospitality provided our House team.  It’s a place to relax and enjoy.
