President's Day win for Graham

Anne McHarg's President's Day at Thetford Golf Club was a great success in the sunshine at the weekend.
In the morning there was a men's Blue Flag Stableford - at six of the holes there were two flags, one of which (the blue flag) was in a more difficult position. By nominating that flag players could earn double points.
The winner was Graham Sloan with 46pts, two more than Mike Horley and Steve Cartwright. The nearest the pin competition at the 16th was won by John Stapleton.
In the afternoon there was a mixed funsomes Stableford which was won by Roger & Vicki Smith with 36pts, beating Graham Stephens & Linda Connor on countback. Third place went to Trevor Wignall and Kath Malvern with 33 on countback from Richard & Carole Goodenough. Richard Goodenough and Vicki Smith won the nearest the pin competitions.
