Barry and Pam lead the way

With the sun shining and a clear blue sky 32 members gathered to take part in the monthly mixed social golf held on Sunday February 17. First off was the Ladies' Captain Mary Neal partnered by David Edgar and Club Vice-Captain Rob Mill and Jenny Rowe. The course was in fine condition with the greens running smoothly.

After the 13-hole competition everyone retired to the Clubhouse to socialise over a drink followed by a meal and prize-giving. The winners, with 30pts, were Barry Tredgett & Pam Ellis, second David Newstead & Ann Engwell with 27, third Richard Goodenough & Chris Edgar with 26 and fourth Rob Mill & Jenny Rowe with 24.

Members were thanked for their participation in making the day so enjoyable and new member Andrew Long was given a warm welcome.
